"Traveling with the GCIV group was a fabulous experience. The accommodations were first class all the way. You [GCIVisits Hungary] planned an incredible itinerary covering a wide range of activities, giving everyone something of special interest. The entire program flowed smoothly without anyone feeling overwhelmed. The tour guides shared insights about the history and government that are not normally covered on tours. Thanks to you and John [John Parkerson, Honorary Consul General of Hungary] the government day was especially interesting; an ordinary tourist would not have had that kind of experience. You kept us all on point throughout the adventure. I am usually a solitary traveler, but I would love to travel again with a GCIV group."

Donate Your Appreciated Stock to GCIV
We are pleased to announce that GCIV can now accept your donations of publicly-traded stock. This alternative to making cash donations provides significant benefits to both GCIV and the donors, as it usually enables the donors to give more money to the charity than they would if they sold the stocks on their own, paid taxes on the gains, and then donated the remaining cash to the organization.

The donor can deduct the current fair market value of the stock as their charitable donation, without paying the capital gains taxes that would apply if they sold the stock themselves. GCIV benefits by receiving the current market value of the stock.

For further information about making a donation to GCIV in the form of stock, please contact the Treasurer, Bruce Taylor at brucektaylor@gmail.com.
