Annual Global Partners Dinner: "A Taste of Canada"

GCIV Global Partners were treated to "A Taste of Canada" during our annual Global Partners Dinner. This year’s dinner was hosted by Stephen Brereton, Consul General of Canada and Dean of the Consular Corps, and Mrs. Carolyn Brereton at the official Canadian residence. Many thanks to the Breretons for hosting us for such a lovely evening. Happy Canada Day!

Ambassadors Enjoy Evita
On June 4, GCIV Ambassadors gathered to see Evita at the Fox Theatre. As a special treat, Jose Flores Velasco, Consul General of Argentina in Atlanta, invited GCIV Ambassadors to a pre-show reception at the Georgian Terrace, where we sampled Argentine wines, cheeses, empanadas, and more.

CCI-GreenHeart is currently seeking volunteer host families to experience culture from other parts of the world. We have students from China, Mongolia, Brazil, France, Spain, Germany, Italy, Russia, Czech Republic, Taiwan, Japan, Egypt, West Bank and Israel for the school year, first or second semesters. AFS Student Exchange for High Schoolers
AFS Intercultural Exchange Programs in Georgia is currently seeking host families for the 2014-15 school year. Whether you are in your 20s or 70s, have children or not, live alone or with a roommate, you are the perfect family for an AFS high school student! AFS has more than 60 trained Atlanta volunteers supporting host families and students before, during, and after the experience.
