Please join us at the next Global Lunch Forum!
GCIV
Global Lunch Forums are a great way for busy professionals to
interact with fascinating international visitors coming to Atlanta.
The speakers are participants in U.S. Department of State exchange
programs. Over lunch, the visitors will tell you about their work in
their respective countries, and you will have an opportunity to
engage in open discussion with people who are leaders in their
fields from around the world.
At this lunch forum we will
host:
Ambassador Ahmet Oktay Aksoy, Former Turkish
Ambassador in Helsinki, Amman, and Stockholm
Ambassador Osman
Resat Arim, Former Turkish Ambassador in Berlin, Beijing, and
Amman
Ambassadors Aksoy and Arim will talk about their
experience in the Turkish foreign service and their work as board
members of the Foreign Policy Institute at Bilkent University. They
will discuss their outlook on Turkey's foreign policy in the coming
years, especially as it relates to the United States and Europe. Our
guests will also discuss their participation in the International
Visitor Leadership Program, where they are discussing U.S. foreign
policy with their professional counterparts. Please come prepared to
engage in discussion with our guests.
Complimentary Turkish
cuisine will be available, courtesy of the Istanbul
Center.
Space is limited and you must RSVP
to attend.
